Six members of the Syracuse University men’s basketball team, including senior #Arinze Onuaku#, were named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the fall semester. The recognition goes to a student-athlete who achieves a 3.0 grade-point average.

Villanova Game Sold Out

The Syracuse vs. Villanova game on Saturday, February 27, has officially sold out with 34,616 tickets sold. It will represent the largest on-campus crowd for a college basketball game in NCAA history, breaking the record set on March 5, 2006 for the Syracuse-Villanova game (33,633).

SU Off to Best Start Ever At 22-1

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – #3/4 Syracuse (22-1, 9-1) is off to its best season start ever after defeating Providence (12-10, 4-6), 85-68, on Tuesday night at the Carrier Dome. The victory marks the first time in program history the Orange has won 22 of its first 23 games.

SU Seeks Best Start In Program History

At 21-1 and 8-1 in the conference, #3/4 Syracuse seeks the best start in school history on Tuesday, Feb. 2 when it hosts Providence (12-9, 4-5) at 7 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. The Orange was 21-1 only one other time in its history (1979-80), but has never won 22 of its first 23 games to begin a season.

Syracuse Climbs A Spot In AP Poll

SYRACUSE, NY -- Syracuse (21-1, 8-1) jumped to number three in the Associated Press Poll and remained in the fourth spot in the USA Today/ESPN Poll, announced on February 1. The poll placement came after another big week for the Orange, which included conference wins against Georgetown and DePaul.
