Orange head football coach Doug Marrone announced today that he has reinstated sophomore defensive end Torrey Ball, sophomore running back Antwon Bailey and junior offensive guard Andrew Tiller. The trio was suspended for a violation of team rules during the week prior to SU's game at #14 Pittsburgh (Nov. 7, 2009). Bailey is Syracuse's second-leading rusher, averaging 23.0 yards per game, and fourth-leading receiver (13.8 ypg), while Tiller moved into the starting lineup prior to SU's game against West Virginia (Oct. 10). Ball has six tackles, including one for a loss of yards, in eight games.

This Saturday, the Orange will play at Louisville (12:00 p.m., ESPNU). It is the ninth meeting in the series, which Syracuse leads, 5-3. The Orange has won the last two meetings, including a 38-35 win at Louisville in 2007 and a 28-21 victory last season in the Carrier Dome.

Syracuse will return to Ernie Davis Legends Field in the Carrier Dome to host Senior Day on Saturday, November 21. The Orange and Rutgers will kick off at 3:30 p.m. (ESPN360.com). Prior to the game Marrone and the University will salute the senior class for their commitment to the program. Tickets are available online and at the Carrier Dome Box Office (888-DOME-TIX).
