SYRACUSE –For the second consecutive year Syracuse University junior rower Natalie Mastracci was named to the Under 23 Canadian 8 team. She will once again be joined by former SU standout Ally Doodeman. The two will represent Canada at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Brandenburg, Germany, from July 17 to 20.
The World Rowing Under 23 Championships are a showcase of up-and-coming athletes who are too old to compete at a junior level but are still in need of further development to rank among top senior elite rowers.
Last year the two helped the Under 23 Canadian 8 squad to a fourth-place finish.
