SU Boasts Seven All-Academic Selections

The Orange softball team had seven BIG EAST All-Academic selections in 2008-09. First-time honorees were rising juniors Nicole Lamison, Kelly Saco and rising sophomore Leah Porter. Second-time award honorees were departed seniors Jorden Rosen, Nicole Miller, rising senior Angie Sagnelli and rising junior Rachel Helman.
The softball team finished with a 30-21 overall record in 2008 and advanced to the BIG EAST Tournament with an 11-9 mark in league play.
