SYRACUSE, NY -- Men's basketball teammates Wes Johnson, Mookie Jones and Kris Joseph helped deliver cases of peanut butter and jelly donated by P&C Foods to the Food Bank of Central New York on Wednesday. The event was part of a program called "Jams for Slams."

As part of the promotion, P&C Foods donated 86 cases of peanut butter and 86 cases of jelly based on the number of dunks Syracuse accumulated during the 2008-09 campaign. It's the second year P&C Foods has partnered with Syracuse University and the Food Bank of Central New York.

The Food Bank of Central New York is a not-for-profit organization working to eliminate hunger through food distribution, education and advocacy in cooperation with the community, according to its website (foodbankcny.org). It serves an 11-county area in Central New York.
