Thomas Signs With Atlanta Hawks
Former SU standout Etan Thomas has signed with the Atlanta Hawks.

Etan Thomas, one of the most prolific shot-blockers in Syracuse basketball history, has signed to play with Atlanta Hawks.
Thomas was selected 12th overall in the 2000 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks but traded to the Washington Wizards before ever playing a game with his first club. Last summer, after signing with the Minnesosta Timberwolves, he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder. His play was limited by injuries. In 23 games, he averaged 3.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
He has logged 396 career NBA games.
Thomas is married to former SU basketball player NIcole Oliver.
