Eaton's time qualified the Abington, Pa. native for the BIG EAST and IC4A championships later this season, and earned himself an automatic bid to the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in March. Eaton bested his previous school record, which he set in 2010, by 0.07 seconds at the Upstate Challenge, and is the fastest 60-meter hurdle time in the nation this season.

Eaton was named the 2010 Northeast Region Men's Athlete of the Year during his junior year, the season he first set the SU 60-meter hurdle record, before redshirting the 2010-11 indoor and outdoor seasons.

Eaton and the Orange will travel to State College, Pa. this weekend for the Penn State National Invitational and to Boston, Mass. for the Valentine Invitational.
