SU Defeats No. 55 Boston College, 4-3
The Syracuse University tennis team (4-3) defeated its first nationally-ranked opponent of the season with a 4-3 victory at No. 55 Boston College on Saturday afternoon.

NEWTON, Mass. – The Syracuse University tennis team (4-3) defeated its first nationally-ranked opponent of the season with a 4-3 victory at No. 55 Boston College on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Orange lost all three doubles matches, but was able to rally and take four of six singles matches for the victory.
 
Emily Harman extended to a six match singles winning streak as she registered her second victory against a ranked opponent, topping No. 108 Jessica Wacnik in three sets, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 on court one.
 
The Orange lost singles two and three, but Breanna Bachini was victorious on court four 6-1, 6-3, and Alessondra Parra won on court five 6-4, 6-4.
 
Amanda Rodgers won on court six by a mark of 6-4, 6-2 and SU recorded its first win against a ranked opponent in four matches this season.
 
SU remains in Boston tomorrow for a match with No. 60 Harvard which starts at 9:00 a.m.
