Syracuse University Athletics

Syracuse alumna, Heather Lowe will be inducted into the Exeter Township High School Athletic Hall of Fame in Reading, PA on Friday, February 3rd.  Lowe was a star player at Syracuse University for the Varsity Field Hockey team from 1993-1997; she received numerous recognitions for her performance on and off the field.   
 
A four-time letterwinner for the Orange, Lowe also earned three All-BIG EAST Second Team selections and Mid-East Region First Team All-American honors in 1996.  With Lowe’s contribution, Syracuse finished as the BIG-EAST regular season champions in consecutive seasons from 1993-1995 and won both the 1993 and 1995 BIG-EAST Tournaments.  In the 1995 championship game, Lowe assisted on the game-winning goal. 
 
Lowe embodied the idea of a scholar-athlete, as she achieved highly not just on the field but in the classroom as well.  In 1997, she was recognized as an Academic All-American, a BIG EAST Academic All-Star and a member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) National Academic Squad.
 
Now Lowe can also proudly list induction into her high school’s athletic hall of fame among her accomplishments.
