Orangemen Meet the Press
The Syracuse Orangemen participated in a press conference on Tuesday as they continue their preparations for the NCAA Final Four. Syracuse takes on Texas in the second national semifinal game on Saturday, April 5. Game time is approximately 8:40 p.m. Eastern time.
The Orangemen advanced to their fourth Final Four by defeating Oklahoma, 63-47, in the Eastern Regional final. This marks the second time SU has traveled to New Orleans for the Final Four. In 1987, the Orangemen lost to Indiana, 74-73, in the National Championship game in the Superdome.
The SU players and coaching staff will take part in a pep rally at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday at Manley Field House prior to departing for New Orleans. Doors open at 2:45 p.m.
