Junior Year: Named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team … Started 18 games … Led the team with 42 ground balls and 33 caused turnovers … Set a school record with her 33 caused turnovers … Ranked second in the BIG EAST and 18th nationally with 1.83 caused turnovers per game … Ranked fourth in the conference and 69th in the NCAA with 2.33 ground balls per game … Recorded 17 points on 13 goals and four assists … Scored a career-best four goals against Notre Dame … Named the WomensLax.com Player of the Week for her performance against the Fighting Irish … Posted three points on two goals and one assist against Binghamton and Cornell … Set the school single-game record with eight caused turnovers against Colgate, eclipsing the previous mark by two … Also matched a personal best with five ground balls against the Raiders … Posted three caused turnovers against Dartmouth, Georgetown and Cornell … Scooped up four ground balls against Dartmouth, Binghamton, Connecticut and Northwestern … Recorded 27 draw controls … Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the spring semester.

 

Sophomore Year: Played in 16 games with 15 starts … Recorded seven points on six goals and one assist, 22 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers … Scored two goals against Northwestern and one goal against Dartmouth, Massachusetts, Albany and Notre Dame … Posted first career assist against Connecticut … Grabbed a personal-best five ground balls against Georgetown and caused three turnovers … Also scooped up five ground balls against Towson … Recorded three ground balls against Massachusetts and Connecticut … BIG EAST Academic All-Star … Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters.

 

Freshman Year: Played in all 17 games, starting 14 … Scored two goals and picked up 22 ground balls … Scored one goal and picked up four ground balls against Albany … Had one goal and one ground ball against Binghamton … Picked up one ground ball against Virginia and Georgetown … Scooped up three ground balls at Harvard … Recorded one ground ball against Brown and Cornell … Registered three ground balls against Boston College … Grabbed one ground ball against Notre Dame … Had three ground balls at Colgate …  Scooped up three ground balls in NCAA first round versus Dartmouth.

 

High School: Four-year member of the lacrosse team and a captain in 2004 … Helped Holy Cross to the WCAC Championship in 2002 …Member of the Future Elite from 2002-2004 … Named first-team all-county in 2003 and 2004 and a two-time All-Gazette First Team honoree … Named Most Valuable Player in 2004 … Also a member of the soccer and cross country teams.

 

Personal: Born March, 1986 … Daughter of Kevin and Maureen Looney … Two sisters and three brothers … Brother, Brendan, played football and lacrosse for Navy, and brothers, Steve and Billy, played lacrosse for Navy … Sister, Erin, plays lacrosse at Pfeiffer College … Also has a younger sister, Kellie … Majoring in hospitality and food service management.
