2009: Syracuse’s all-time leading scoring with 105 points • Second on SU’s career assist list with 45 • Named to the BIG EAST Conference First Team • Notched an assist at Princeton in the NCAA Tournament’s second round • Tallied a goal and an assist against Boston College in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament • Earned BIG EAST Honor Roll accolades after registering a goal and an assist versus Rutgers • Recorded four points off one goal and two assists at Villanova • Provided the assist on both of SU’s goals against Dartmouth • Scored two goals, including the game winner versus Georgetown • Notched the game-winning goal against Albany • Tallied a goal against Michigan • Scored SU’s first goal versus Michigan State • Provided the assist on the game-winning goal against Old Dominion • Named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for her performance versus Ohio State and Princeton • Collected first point of the season with an assist against Ohio State • Netted both Syracuse goals and was credited with a defensive save against Princeton.

High School: Four-year starter for the Cumberland Valley High School field hockey team • As team captain her senior season she was named Mid-Penn Commonwealth Player of the Year, scoring 16 goals and six assists • Named to the Patriot News Big 11 First Team in 2006.
Personal: Born in April 1989 in Denver, Colo. • Daughter of Bruce and Kathy Befort • Has one sister • Majoring in environmental engineering.
Ambitions in hockey? To belong to a team who truly share a common goal of winning a National Championship.
Strengths on the field? My athleticism, strength, awareness, anticipation and my contribution to our corner unit with my elite level push out.
Why did you choose SU? I initially looked to come to SU for the opportunity to play for Ange Bradley and when I visited I fell in love with the incredible atmosphere surrounding this university. Academically and athletically it stands out among the rest.
