All-American 1956
Considered one of SU’s all-time greatest athletes, Brown competed in football, basketball, lacrosse and track and field with the Orange. He was a consensus All-American in 1956. His 986 yards and 13 touchdowns were school records that season. Brown went on to a stellar NFL career with the Cleveland Browns. He is a member of the Pro and College Football halls of fame.
