Defensive Back, 1985-88
Paul’s 19 interceptions place him first on the SU career ledger. He was a finalist for the Jim Thorpe Award (outstanding defeensive back) in 1987 and 1988, and picked up All-American recognition following his senior campaign. Paul played with the Chicago Bears and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL.
