Sophomore Year (1991): Played in all 12 games … Had a big game in SU’s upset win against #5 Florida with a game-high 85 yards on 14 carries … Second on the team in rushing with 341 yards on 82 carries … Also caught eight passes for 80 yards and had seven kickoff returns for 136 yards … Recorded 558 all-purpose yards on 97 plays.
Freshman Year (1990): One of four true freshmen to play … Did not play until the fifth game of the season, but still finished with the fourth highest rushing total for an Orange freshman … Played in nine games and was second on the team with 320 yards on 60 carries for a 5.3 average … Started against West Virginia when David Walker was injured and had a career-high 93 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries … Had 75 yards on nine carries the week before against Tulane … Had 83 all-purpose yards vs. Arizona in the Aloha Bowl, rushing five times for 38 yards and catching a 47-yard touchdown pass.
