Mission
The purpose of the camp is to provide participants the opportunity to improve skills and learn to truly appreciate football. Under the guidance of Coach Doug Marrone, the entire Syracuse Coaching staff, and other select coaches, each camper will come away with a greater comprehension and understanding of the game of football why it is the greatest game played. Lectures, demonstrations, and drill sessions are presented daily and campers are offered the use of Syracuse’s other facilities.
Staff and Administration
This annual Football Camp at Syracuse University has a long and rich tradition as an educational program that provides campers a sound, friendly, family-type atmosphere. We are particularly proud that the entire Syracuse staff serves as camp instructors and residence hall counselors. In addition, guest coaches from Division 1A, 1AA, II and III Colleges and Universities, as well as coaches from the Atlantic 10, Ivy, and Patriot League will also be in attendance.
Facilities
The Camp utilizes Syracuse University facilities, including campus residence and dining halls. The Coyne Field, Maury Katz, and Ben Schwartzwalder Fields with their artificial surfaces will be used for practice sessions. In addition, campers will also have access to the new indoor artificial turf field inside the Arena at Manley Field House.
