General Carrier Dome Information

The Carrier Dome Box Office, located just inside Gate B, on the southwest corner of the Carrier Dome across from the Sadler Residence Hall, is open daily 8:30 - 4:30, Monday - Friday, except for holidays. When an event is not taking place, you may park in the RAY parking lot below the Carrier Dome (for which we will validate your parking stub). On weekends we open 4 hours before SU basketball games, and at 9:00 am the day of home SU football games.

As a general rule, those spectators attending any Carrier Dome event will be permitted to bring the following items:

PERMITTED ITEMS:
Walkman-type radios, Watchman-type televisions, binoculars, stadium cushions/seats, purses, cellular phones, pagers, and diaper bags (if there is a child in diapers with the parent). Banners not on sticks or poles are permitted as long as they are in good taste. Still cameras, newspapers, magazines, and books are permitted. Camera bags and binocular cases will be examined.

PROHIBITED ITEMS:
Food or beverages (with exceptions noted below), backpacks, video camcorders, tape recorders, baby strollers, banners or signs on poles, balloons, confetti, noisemaking devices or any type of weapon, any type of ball, frisbees, animals (excluding certified service animals), skateboards, in-line skates, and coolers. Patrons are asked not to attempt to enter the stadium with any bags, backpacks or other packages or containers. There will not be a checkroom for prohibited items, nor will these items be placed in trashcans. Persons bringing any prohibited items will have to return them to their vehicles.

Additionally, for some events, cameras, radios, etc. may not be permitted. Please call if you have any questions about specific items you want to bring to an event.

Any person stating that they have a medical condition requiring special food or beverage, such as a diabetic, or as a personal preference they require health food, such as cut-up fruit for children, should be permitted in with their special food or beverage, once the package is inspected.

Additional uniformed and civilian security personnel will be placed throughout the Carrier Dome to enforce the additional security measures. Patrons are urged to arrive earlier to avoid delays.

Smoking is prohibited, as per NYS law, anywhere in the Carrier Dome, including the restrooms. Event attendees who wish to smoke will be permitted to exit the Carrier Dome at designated gates by obtaining a re-entry pass from a ticket-taker. The attendee must then surrender the re-entry pass and show their ticket stub to re-enter the Dome.

DIRECTIONS TO SEATS:
Enter the facility at the gate shown on your ticket. Students may enter at any gate, but are required to present their SU ID for SU basketball, football and lacrosse events. The section number on the ticket refers to the aisle; look for overhead signs in the concourses. Note that as you are looking down at the field, low seat numbers (1, 2, etc.) are to the left of the aisle and high seat numbers (101, 102, etc.) are to the right.

DISABLED PATRONS:
Seating for disabled or restricted mobility patrons is available and can ONLY be purchased at the Carrier Dome Box Office (Gate B). Use Gates A, C (from Irving Garage) or G to access seating for disabled patrons. The parking Shuttle Bus for disabled patrons (from Skytop) drops off and picks up at Gate A. We also offer Gate A drop-off passes for disabled patrons on an as-needed basis (parking is not part of the drop-off pass).

FIRST AID:
The first-aid room is located on the first level between aisle 101 and 102. If you need medical attention, any Carrier Dome personnel (usher, ticket taker, etc.) can direct you appropriately.

Located at Stadium Control, on the service level below the Box Office.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Carrier Dome gates and parking lots open 90 minutes before the start of all SU football and most SU basketball games. Call the Box Office about gate times for other events. Long range seating for SU basketball includes any seats to the east of aisles 301 and 319 on the third (300) level.

PATRONS WITH HEARING LOSS:
Patrons may stop by the Management Office (see map) and obtain, for all but concerts, walkman type headsets that augment the public address system. There is no charge for this service.
