Policies for Persons with Disabilities
PARKING
A limited number of season parking passes for football and men’s basketball are available near the Carrier Dome. These passes are only available through the Box Office. However these lots are usually sold out. Existing season ticket holders may request these lots as part of the yearly renewal process, and we fill those requests as spaces become available, on a first requested, first served basis. A doctor’s letter is required when applying for these lots. Season, as well as single game parking for football and men’s basketball is available at the SKYTOP lot, just behind the Skytop office building. A wheelchair accessible shuttle bus takes patrons to Gate A of the Carrier Dome, and picks them up at Gate A and G after the game (the shuttle bus is part of the parking fee).
For men’s lacrosse, A limited number of season parking passes are available near the Carrier Dome, and are only available through the Box Office. On a single game basis, you may make your needs know to the booth attendants at either the Raynor/Irving or Euclid entrance to the University, and they will direct you accordingly.
We also offer Gate A drop-off passes for patrons with disabilities on an as-needed basis (parking is not part of the drop-off pass).
For other events at the Carrier Dome, please call the Box Office for details on which parking lots are available and at what cost.
ENTRANCES
There are three wheel-chair accessible entrances: Gate A, C and G. An elevator is located just behind the Box Office at Gate B, that provides access to the Upper Level.
Gate A, located on the south side of the stadium, has an airlock, and is where the disabled shuttle bus drops off and picks up.
Gate C, located on the northwest corner of the stadium, has an airlock and is near the walkway from the Irving Garage.
Gate G, located on the southeast corner of the stadium (just east of Gate A), has an airlock, and is the location that the disabled shuttle bus picks up.
SEATING
There are designated areas within the Carrier Dome that accommodate both wheelchairs and fans requiring easy access seats (those who cannot climb many stairs or walk long distances). For football, season areas are located in sections 103, 114, and 122-125, as available (the sideline seating is currently sold out). Single game seating is located in sections 122-125, as available. For men’s basketball, season seating is located in sections 103, 109, and 114, as available. Single game seating is located in 103 and 114, as available. Please call the box office in advance for specific information on location, price and availability.
TICKET PURCHASES
For patrons who need wheelchair or easy access seating, there is a purchase limit of two tickets per event for these areas (one for the patron in need of that seating, and one guest). Please make arrangements in advance of the event with the Carrier Dome Box Office. For patrons with disabilities who wish to purchase tickets at the Box Office during regular business hours, they may enter through Stadium Control and take the elevator to the first level and the box office.
