WELCOME to the official camp site of CUSE Soccer Academy and the Syracuse University women's soccer program.
Philosphy:
CUSE Soccer Academy (CSA) is dedicated to the development of young players, boys and girls, of all ages. In order to effectively support a player’s development the Academy will employ a holistic approach to coaching and education. CSA will focus on the ‘4 corner development model’ to allow players to reach their full potential. The model outlines the four areas (technical, tactical, physical, and psycho-social) critical to a young player’s progress in the game. Each individual soccer player is unique and will have different needs within the four corners, which are connected and support each other.
Through carefully designed drills, activities, and small sided games the CUSE Soccer Academy staff will aim to develop players in a fun environment; without the ‘win at all costs’ mentality or fear of failure.
Objective:
The primary aim of our soccer academy is to develop players who can go on and play at the college level. The secondary aim is to develop a player’s talent to a proficient standard- technically, tactically, physically and psycho-socially- to allow them to perform at the highest level possible: recreation, club, travel or high school. All players that attend our camps and clinics will be encouraged to play the game with spirit, fair play, enjoyment and with a desire to win that is greater than the fear of losing.
They will also recognize that………
Together
Everyone
Achieves
More
………on and off the field.
Regardless of if you are a beginner who wants to learn some new skills and build confidence or a dedicated soccer player who wants to move to the next level, CUSE Soccer Academy is here to help you achieve your goals.
The CUSE Soccer Academy and GK ONE staff has vast experience in coaching and developing young players (boys and girls) of all ages, abilities and positions. All coaching staff hold either a USSF, NSCAA, English FA or UEFA coaching qualification.
We look forward to seeing you on one of our camps/clinics in the future!
