Todd Blumen is in his seventh year as video coordinator. This year he added the title of producer. Prior to that, Blumen spent the previous five years as a video production assistant. He embarked on the profession as a graduate assistant video coordinator for basketball for three seasons. His association with the University is now in its 23rd year.

Blumen directs the video operations for the athletics department with primary emphasis on men’s basketball and the Olympic sport teams. In addition to handling video services for men’s basketball at home and on the road, Blumen assists with the team’s computer equipment.

Blumen earned a B.A. in mathematics from Syracuse in 1991. From 1986 to 1992 he was a basketball student manager. From 1995 to 1997 he was a graduate assistant for the team while earning an MBA from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. He returned to SU after working as an accounting supervisor in the travel industry and as an accounting manager with a sporting goods retailer.

He is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the Collegiate Sports Video Association (CSVA).

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Blumen also works for the Big Orange Basketball Camp during the summer. He resides in Liverpool.
